If we get some nice British heavies into the game then the persecutor map is going to be great for the night bombing campaign as well. I wonder if there is a way fires can be made visible for miles so we can have pathfinder missions included?

As we've said all along, when flying the Persecutor map, make sure you have good bladder control.  Those flights will be very long but not as long as the ones we plan on the Deacon map.  Those names are just our "in-house" names we've given them.  We have other, more formal names for them but haven't used them as of yet.  Nice to have all you new posters here.  Welcome.

Hey chaps,
You won't be short of visitors now, I'm sure. These maps have a lot of interest in the community. Glad to see you're thinking of posting them at AAA when they're done.I missed the whole kerfuffle. As a campaign builder I know I don't want to take the time to build something that only a few people can use. As mapamakesrs I'm sure you don't wnat to labour so long over such quality maps for just a limited audience. beleive me, people want to see them.
I'm hoping M4T and the like finally wake up and join the party.
Anyway, if you need anything, give me a yell.
Cheers,

Hi everybody !

Honestly I was a bit worried about this great map.
English is not my native language so I did not fully understand why we get here... Roll Eyes

Will the future map be compatible with AAA mod ?
It would be very sad that we can't use this map with a standard installation !  Wink

Thanks

Salute, dup!!

Worry not.  The maps, when finished, will be completely compatible with the AAA mod.   You won't be sad.

So -- what's going on with the map??  How come there aren't very many updates and photos?

The answer is that there are little map gnomes working feverishly night and day adjusting elevations, particularly on the hundreds of miles (thousands?) of shoreline, making sure that the surf meets the turf in all the correct ways so that folks, when visiting the seashore, will actually see a seashore and not other strange things.

Too, the airfield gnomes are busy grading runways, pouring concrete, building hangers, painting headquarters buildings, and generally doing what construction gnomes do.

Standing by, in the wings waiting for the map gnomes to get finished with their *extremely tedious* work, are the elves that are responsible for rivers, roads, bridges, and railways.  The last time I visited their workshop there were words flying from corner to corner in disagreement over which line on the architect's drawing represented a railway, and which a road.  I fear the worst .... the elves weren't playing well together.  But then, we've other experience with that and have survived, so I'm sure this will work out fine in the end, also.

We have told the map gnomes they can't go out and play until they're done with their chores, so hopefully it will be soon!

A recon flight just checked in and confirmed construction activity currently going on over RAF Westhampnett.   Stay tuned while we recover the flight and devlop the phots.   Wink
