Great job guys, took me awhile to find a 352nd guy in the lobby to get the link.  Missed the updates over on AAA, never understood the cock up, but don't care for politics...lol.... Map looks great, are you taking into account RONE's new Hanger mods?..... his work is just as fantastic as yours, would love to see some of his new stuff in your map.  Any idea, when you may put this out for a community beta test to see how well it works for the general public?..  Is 352 Link still in the squad, I have not seen him since the 361st disbanded.  Would love to have the old 361st back together to fly escort missions on this map.  Take er slow and steady and get it right....... cheers...... Grin

Killerwatt thanks for the offer, hopefully we will not be to much longer with the first release.   Wink

BeoWolf, thanks for stopping by and glad you found us.  Yes Link is around, send him a pm if you get a chance, I'm sure he would like to hear from you.  And yes we are already using Rone's stuff, he does Awesome work and knew we wanted it in our map when we first saw his hangers!  Take a look here St. Omer Screenshots  Map is progressing well and we are definitely taking our time.  Should have a couple more bases completed by the end of the week.

Best regards,
Booze

Not posted since I joined the forum, so just thought I'd show my face again to let you know I'm still following your progress and very much look forward to the release of this map. Standards are still looking beyond high and I'm loving everything I've seen.

Thanks RJ, a delicious cup of Joe if I do say so.  Appreciate it!  Normally I would put it on Per's tab at Jinkers place.   laugh

Fruitbat thanks, was looking at that yesterday.  Will give it a try and see how it looks on the map when it becomes available.  Looks pretty good but we'll need to see how many other compatible texturs there are to go along with that one.  Thanks for stopping by.

UPDATE:  Over the weekend we were able to get close to finalizing the terrain.  Putting the final touches on the hills and valleys, nooks and crannies of the map.  The ground pounders are going to love this.  With luck we'll have it out to the squad to beta test perhaps towards the end of this week, then back to installing bases.  Coster has completed Debden he is just waiting for me to finish texturing.  Will need to check the build sheet but after that its Caffiers and one of Deacons RAF installs.   Pers is working on the Roads and Rails, he especially enjoys the Trains.   Wink  Oscar is currently working on the RAF Bomber Command Bases.  Deacon is working on London this week.

On a side note guys we have decided to go with R1's building upgrades since they are so nice.  We are also using the same file structure for our own new buildings and for all the new models we are putting in.  Once Coster gets back we'll get him all the new stuff and have it in our next update install along with the new airfields we need to test.

Don't forget about Spit I AI bug and try to place trees that far of the runway to spit don't collide with them. It's so nervous in canonuk's beta map!

? Spit AI Bug ?

Is that not what was fixed in version 2.7?  Or, was that just the gun blister fix? Are we using v2.5 now?  Coster?
