I've been reading, yet not reading this thread.
I kept associating this to the V-1 in my mind.
What version is the V-2 usable, or is the rocket blast a photoshop or a light strategically located ?

Wheels in the pics it is just fire and smoke objects nothing fancy, however you have brought up a good point.  We need to make the V-2 usable.

Oh Hell NO!!  I'm starting a petition right now - "Say NO to V-2s!!" The V-1s are enough trouble......

Beside's do you REALLY think Deacon is going to let you sit there with your plump white finger on a "Launch Button".  Damn, you're dangerous enough without that.....

LOL, but think of the possibilities?  It probably would not be to tough to do.  Do a little editing to the V-1 model, change the Rockets.  Would need to seperate the Rocket and the launch pad and then add the blast from the 4000lber.  We could test it on Pers.   Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin

Hey - that's "Roskets" - get it right!  ... Just use the AI from the V-1's.

Can you image.....

You've just returned from a 3 hr mission over France on the CCM map and parked your plane on the apron.
Then, blackness - lights out - dead - - - WTF!

Of course, that can happen right now with the V-1s - if you do it right.

Roskets it is.   Grin  I like it, would add additional Oooompfff to the realism huh?  We could also probably add a whistling type Rocket sound as it approaches right before impact.    LOL, my plump white finger on a "Launch Button".

I feel the need to cock one off toward Deacon!

Oscar I'd like to order a second V-1 test while you're at it.  I'll send you the coordinates, it won't be far from your first one.   Grin

I'll let the boys at Flixecourt know to strap on an extra bottle of fuel - should reach the target area with no problem.

Booze, if you even think of how to do a V-1 into a V-2 before CCM is completed, you'll be peeling potatoes until you look like one.  Oscar, you better stop baiting Booze or your clusters will become railroad tracks in a hurry and you know how much Pers and myself love to go bombing railroad tracks.
