Someone already made a V-2 mod, you know where.
Didn't know if anyone wanted to check it out.

It's still a Wip at the moment Booze.
The last I read he was on version 3 and looking to create a new slot for it.
If I read his description correctly the one right now takes the place of the V-1 but it has a ballistic trajectory instead of a flat trajectory.
It is supposed to be fast as hell too.

Confirmed.....I was testing both V-1 and V-2 last weekend for range and time to target on the CCM map.

The {WIP} V-2 Mod version is "0.3" not "3" and yes it does replace the in-game V-1 so you'd loose that capability.  Definitely a "work in-progress" at this point.  "IF" the author can get it in-game as a separate object it will/would be good.  The V-2 implementation, at this point is crude and inacurate and will require some ballistics and animation work before its acceptable - IMHO.

Now the V-1 on the other hand is a real "piece of work"!!!  As I have already pinpointed all the known launch sites on the CCM; I have re-created launches from each of them to recorded historical locations in the UK.  Every single target is "in range"!!!!  On a 1:1 map, I was afraid the modelling for the V-1 would not have sufficient range - as none of the maps in the game at that point (original V-1 release date) were large enough to test a "maximum" range of the V-1.

So, those of you out there in the community looking to recreate the "Reign of Terror" missions should relax - the V-1 is extremely capable and accurate.

Thanks Oscar,

Hopefully he can get a new slot figured out and improve it more.
I don't want to lose the V-1 as it fits in more nicely with the first Cross Channel Map.

Does anyone know how the V-2 mod panned out ?
I spent a couple of hours looking for it and all references to it seem to be gone.
Or I can't use a search function very well...  Roll Eyes
